Latino Youth Recognition Days
It is a beautiful summer day at Fenway Park. The sun shines on the field, families fill the stands, and excitement is everywhere. But this is more than a day at the ballpark.
One by one, students walk onto the field as their names are announced before hundreds of cheering family members and supporters. Each student is there because of their outstanding academic achievement. Many have earned straight A’s, are honor roll students, or have demonstrated exceptional dedication in the classroom. As they step onto the field, you can see the pride on their faces and in the smiles of the families who have supported them every step of the way.
It is impossible to witness these moments without feeling inspired.
Over 75 local students honored
Vitra Health is honored to help make these celebrations possible through our partnership with El Mundo Boston and the Red Sox Foundation. For the past four years, we have proudly participated in this event celebrating students from Chelsea, East Boston, Lawrence, and Revere. We also provided more than 75 students with backpacks to help them start the new school year ready to succeed.
During the final Latino Youth Recognition Day on Saturday, Vitra Health CEO Dr. Lorena Silva had the privilege of congratulating the students and celebrating their achievements. Reflecting on the event, she shared, “We love these students. We are here every year because they represent our community and, more importantly, they represent the future of Massachusetts.”
