Vitra Celebrates Latino Youth Recognition Day at Fenway
For Vitra, summer is all about honoring local youth.
The Vitra Health team had the privilege of attending 30th Annual Latino Youth Recognition Day events at Fenway Park. These were hosted by El Mundo Boston and the Red Sox Foundation. These events celebrate Latino students from across Massachusetts who have earned straight A’s. More importantly, they continue to lead by example in their schools and communities.
We’re proud to support Latino Youth Recognition Day. It’s a tradition that highlights academic excellence and community pride. In fact, each celebration shines a light on young leaders who are already making a difference.
Each student walked onto the field during a special pregame ceremony. Event staff handed each student a certificate to honor their academic success. These moments highlight the incredible potential in our communities. They also show the value of consistent, positive reinforcement.
Our CEO, Lorena Silva, attended the June 30 celebration for students from Lynn and Revere, on July 10, our COO, Virginia Brackett, joined the event honoring East Boston students, and Brian Ferreira, Director of Business Development and Growth welcomed the children from Lawrence on May 19. All the events created meaningful opportunities to connect with families, applaud student achievements, and show what’s possible when hard work is supported.
These recognitions aren’t just symbolic. As a result, they send a strong message: academic success matters. And the community stands behind these students every step of the way.
Why Latino Youth Recognition Day Matters to Vitra
At Vitra, we believe that supporting families means showing up in meaningful ways. That includes celebrating students, families, and communities that strive for excellence. To that end, we take pride in being present at events that uplift and inspire.
Moreover, these celebrations reflect our broader commitment to those we serve. Learn more about Vitra’s community impact and how we support families beyond the clinic.
We’re honored to be part of these moments. Therefore, we look forward to continuing this important work in the months ahead.
