Celebrating Health Center Week with Greater Lawrence Family Health Center

In honor of National Health Center Week, we’re proud to spotlight our longstanding partnership with the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC), a vital pillar in the Lawrence community, and a trusted partner in expanding access to care.

Lawrence is a city known for its rich diversity and strong sense of community. Home to families from across Latin America and the Caribbean, it reflects the cultural strength, resilience, and pride that make Massachusetts communities thrive. At Vitra, we are honored to serve this vibrant city and help amplify the care and resources that every family deserves.

Over the years, our collaboration with GLFHC has helped dozens of families connect with Vitra Health’s Adult Foster Care program, empowering loved ones to remain at home with confidence, dignity, and the financial support they need.

On Wednesday, August 6, our team joined GLFHC’s incredible Community Health Fair, a joyful day filled with resources, family fun, and connection. We were especially excited to contribute to the celebration with delicious ice cream from Cremosos, a locally owned cart serving tropical flavors made with real fruit.

Throughout the day, families learned about programs to support their health and well-being, and 120 backpacks were distributed to children to get them ready for the new school year. We also had the chance to connect with community leaders—including Mayor Brian DePeña, whose commitment to the families of Lawrence is always front and center.

Health centers like GLFHC are essential to building strong, thriving communities—and at Vitra, we are proud to walk alongside them.
